Entity details pending: these terms are in force as written. The registered details of the operating entity are being finalised and will be published here and on the project page before any listing application. Until then, notices reach us at the contact address in section 8.

1. Parties and scope

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the BitKuruş software, websites and public APIs (the "Service"), operated by BitKuruş'u işleten tüzel kişilik ("BitKuruş", "we"). By using the Service you accept these Terms.

2. Nature of the Service

BitKuruş is a UTXO-style token ledger and a multi-node replication protocol. Wallets run entirely client-side and private keys never leave the user's device. BitKuruş does not hold user assets (non-custodial), and is not an investment instrument, a security, or a promise of return. See the tokenomics and the risk disclosure.

3. User responsibilities

  • You alone are responsible for the security of your private keys and password. Their loss is irreversible.
  • You may not use the Service in breach of applicable law.
  • You will use the APIs within the published rate limits and within reasonable-use principles.

4. Prohibited use

The Service may not be used for money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, attacks intended to compromise the integrity of the network, or any unlawful purpose.

5. Intellectual property and licensing

The BitKuruş federation protocol specification and the published client tools — the offline wallet and the independent ledger verifier — are open source under the MIT licence. The source code of the node reference implementation is not published; the LICENCE file in the repository covers only the published components. Trademarks and logos belong to the operating entity. The reasoning is set out under source availability.

6. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BitKuruş is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. For the network's technical maturity and its limits, read the risk disclosure and the threat model.

7. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the law of Türkiye Cumhuriyeti. The courts and enforcement offices of İstanbul have jurisdiction over disputes.
